Since our work with girls & women in Ancash in 2014, and the building of a women's community center for Shilla in alignment with permaculture design & materials, I became pregnant of a baby boy in April 2014 and started a beautiful, intense, and deep journey into the Rite of Passage of becoming a mother myself.

- Having Andean blood from both my family lines, I am a feminist medical anthropologist, women's health educator, doula and mother, interested in helping bringing back women's autonomy over their bodies and reproductive lives, especially to more vulnerable women as in the Peruvian Andes, and in revitalizing female Andean Medicine and wisdom in reproductive health, including Andean midwifery.
